Jade Hidle is a Vietnamese-Irish-Norwegian teacher and writer. Her work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net. You can read her words in her chapbook, The Return to Viet Nam, as well as in Michigan Quarterly Review:  Mixtape, Poetry Northwest, Craft Literary, among other journals. She was also a featured writer for the Diasporic Vietnamese Artists Network’s diacritics.org

Her next book, Hair: A My Lai Memoir, is forthcoming from Texas Tech University Press in 2025. 


She lives in Long Beach, California.
